Joalie takes over Maison Markul from May 28 to 30, 2026. A jewelry edition house showcasing its pieces in our 19th-century hôtel particulier.
Maison Markul presents Joanna Hawrot’s Wearable Art – Unseen Threads, with works by Angelika Markul and Zuza Krajewska, curated by Paweł Pachciarek. First shown at Daimaru Shinsaibashi in Osaka as part of EXPO 2025, the exhibition continues in Paris during Art Basel Paris 2025. Inspired by the Polish School of Artistic Textiles and the Japanese philosophy of jūnihitoe, Unseen Threads layers narratives and gives voice to those excluded by mainstream fashion. Hawrot’s textile creations dialogue with a new series of wax sculptures by Angelika Markul and photographs by Zuza Krajewska. With the support of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Angelika Markul and Arnaud Lutellier welcome visitors to their 19th-century hôtel particulier for an encounter between art, fashion, and identity.
Maison Markul welcomes ColAAb, a project where art reinvents itself within the everyday. Since 2022, ColAAb has invited renowned visual artists to create unique pieces at the crossroads of sculpture and furniture. Here, a table, a seat, or a mirror is no longer a simple object: it becomes the extension of an artistic universe, an invitation to inhabit poetry and to experience beauty in new ways. With ColAAb, each work brings the intimate into the realm of the exceptional, transforming living spaces into sensitive, immersive experiences.
In collaboration with Galerie Leto (Warsaw), the events in this new space begin with a presentation of works by François Ristori (1936–2015) alongside new pieces by Angelika Markul.
